Question:
The Israelis and Palestinians have begun indirect "proximity talks" meant to relaunch the peace process. Will these talks lead the way to a two-state solution?

1. Yes, any kind of talking is better than no talking at all:  23.1%
2. Maybe. If the U.S. can force both sides into an agreement: 23.1%
3. No chance. It's time to start thinking about a one-state solution: 30.8%

Just some of the "other" comments:
Not as long as Netanyahu has a say

Not until Gaza is a real part of the discussion

Talk w/o action is cheap. Israel is unwilling to act; ergo: talk is cheap.

Question:
France is about to ban the niqab, the full-face covering worn by particularly pious Muslim women. Considering that only one-half of 1% of Muslim women in France wear the niqab, what do you think the result of the ban will be?

Poll results:
A. It will force Muslims to assimilate more fully into France: 10.4%
B. It will cause even more resentment among French Muslims: 70.8%
C. Nothing. It will make no difference either way: 8.3%
Other: 10.4%

Just some of the "other" comments:
It will divide communities, both Native to France and worldwide

It's discriminatory to tell women what to wear but also what not to wear

It will keep the pious Muslin women indoors, further shutting them out of society

I think France is confusing secularism with atheism

there is NO evidence of bomb building.

No, but only with regime change.
