Christa is a self-described Mid East enthusiast, post-Orientalism constructivist, pro-theist Christian oddity, and Peace Studies wonk gone rogue in the nation's capital. Deniz
Deniz lives in two worlds. One is filled with books, newspapers, and inspiring ideas by scholars and authors on issues that are vital to various cultures. Her educational and professional background includes Journalism and Advertising. Deniz's goal is to attend graduate school to study intercultural studies/media and continueher voyage in academic research and teaching.
Her second world, which she is passionate about, is made up of nature and crossfit. Camping, hiking, mountaineering and crossfit and she hopes to live this healthy lifestyle as long as she can.

"Baba"
Of Iranian descent, "Baba"- as he is better known- has a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and has taken every opportunity to learn and see the world. With this in mind, he has traveled the Middle East from Tblisi to Tel Aviv, including a four month stint in Ankara where he was able to pursue his two passions: backgammon and yes, good baklava.
He strives to bring to Aslan Media a unique mix of insightful wit and a fresh perspective of a newcomer. Think Voltaire meets Ron Artest...if that even makes sense.

Nicholas
Nicholas is a sophomore at the University of Southern California, majoring in print journalism. An aspiring writer, he is also a global affairs junkie, comic book fan, and movie enthusiast. His goal in life is to either travel the world reporting on international news, or writing novels from a seaside house.
Natalie
Natalie Stewart is a rising junior at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. As a patron of the quirky and weird, she tends to laugh at silly sounding words and odd looking animals, and has been known to issues odd noises herself from time to time. Her intense love of all things dessert-like makes her a fixture at local bakeries and cafés. Though she can be slightly defensive where food is concerned, she does enjoy sharing treats with her equally nutty friends particularly when Taboo or Cranium is involved. If this description has made you wary of encounters with her, rest assured that her spectacular quantity of curly red hair and often even brighter red face makes her very easy to spot- should you wish casually avoid her ridiculous ramblings.
